Deus, qui, ad tuendam cathólicam fidem et universa in Christo instauránda, sanctum Pium summum Pontificem caelésti sapiéntia et apostólica fortitúdine replevísti: concede propítius; ut, ejus institúta et exémpla sectántes, præmia consequámur ætérna. Per eúmdem Dóminum.

O God, who didst fill the soul of St. Pius X with a burning charity and called him to be the Vicar of Christ, grant that via his intercession, we may follow in the footsteps of Jesus (t), Our Divine Master; and may our prayers to this saintly Pope be fruitful for life both here and hereafter, via the same Christ our Lord.

+O God, Who didst raise up Saint Pius X to be the chief Shepherd of Thy flock and especially endowed him with devotion to the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar and zeal for Thine eternal truths and a love of the priesthood and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, grant we beg of Thee, that we who venerate his memory on earth, may enjoy his powerful intercession in Heaven. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Prayer of Consecration to the Holy Ghost

O Holy Ghost, divine Spirit of light and love, I consecrate to Thee my intellect, my heart, my will and my whole being for time and for eternity.  May my intellect be ever docile to Thy heavenly inspirations and to the teaching of the Holy Catholic Church of which Thou art the infallible Guide. May my heart be ever inflamed with the love of God and my neighbour; may my will be ever in conformity with the divine will, and may my whole life be a faithful imitation of the life and virtues of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to whom, with the Father and thee, Holy Spirit, be honour and glory for ever. Amen.
