O God, to defend the Catholic faith and restore all things in Christ, you have filled the Supreme Pontiff, Saint Pius X, with heavenly wisdom and apostolic strength; It is fitting that, following his teachings and examples, putting human respect aside, we too defend our faith against the internal enemies of the Church – the modernists – that this great saint boldly and firmly denounced in his encyclical Pascendi Dominici Gregis and get the eternal prizes.
